Microwave engineering, active circuits, antenna systems, ADS and vector network analysis
Within the domain of electrical engineering there is a growing interest in microwave engineering and antenna systems. Next to traditional application areas, such as wireless and radar, microwave engineering and antennas have become eminent in several new application domains, such as medical applications (e.g. MRI scanner) and high‐speed IC and PCB design. The course includes hands‐on lab using state‐of‐the‐art design tools and measurement equipment (Network Analyser).

- Introduction in Microwave engineering, including passive components and active circuits (amplifiers)
- Introduction into antenna systems
- Hands‐on labs in design tools (ADS) and the vector network analyser
Intended for
Engineers (TU/HBO+experience) in electrical engineering.
Participants to bring their own laptop to the course with the freeware QUCS installed.
This master lecture series is accessible to PAO Technology and Management participants. Regular TU students will also attend the lecture series.
The lectures are given in English.
