About PAOTM

PAO Techniek en Management (PAOTM) is dé postacademische opleider voor technisch professionals die zich verder willen ontwikkelen in een technisch vakgebied of hun managementkwaliteiten willen verbeteren. Jaarlijks organiseren we ruim 150 cursussen, opleidingen en maatwerk in de vorm van incompany trainingen. Hiermee zorgen we ervoor dat ingenieurs na een hbo- of universitaire opleiding gedurende hun carrière kunnen doorgroeien en hun eigen marktpositie én die van de organisatie waarvoor ze werken versterken.

PAOTM is an independent non-profit foundation, originated in the 1960s by the Technical Universities and the Royal Netherlands Society for Engineers (KIVI). Our current board, responsible for strategy and policy, consists of professors and management from Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University ​​of Technology and University of Twente, the professional association KIVI and the trade association NLingenieurs. We act as an independent platform that bundles the latest scientific knowledge and makes it directly accessible to technical professionals.

In addition to universities and industry organizations, PAOTM works closely with leading research institutes and knowledge-intensive companies and governments in order to contribute to the development of our participants into pioneers in their field.

We bundle the latest knowledge and make it available in the form of classroom courses in small groups where applicability in practice plays a central role. Through the interaction between our experienced teachers and enthusiastic participants, we create a valuable environment in which each participant finds enrichment for his or her specific situation. Whether this is for a practical issue that requires a solution or for a complex project involving social challenges.
