With this course you will learn how to give effective leadership to people and together with them, help them get the results they are aiming to achieve.

Daily work practices can be unruly. Often vested interests of stakeholders can be conflicting with each other. Sometimes it seems that team members have a different motivation than yourself. Processes and structures often block effective work practices. So, how do you remain true to yourself while giving good leadership to engineers under these circumstances? 

You realize that you can grow in the effectiveness of your leadership. Managing engineers helps you give a positive direction to the actions of others.  You will find your own source of inspiration, develop a language to motivate other engineers and to coach them so that you can achieve results together.

  • Be able to set up and run motivational conversations and discussions with your colleagues.
  • Lead as a coach if and when the situation necessitates that.
  • Gain your own vision of what trust means for you, and thereby be able to guide your team more effectively.
