When you (or your employer) register at PAO Techniek en Management (PAOTM) for an activity, contact us via a form or download something from our website(s), we will ask for your personal data. In this privacy statement you can read which data we process for which purpose(s). This policy is in line with the guidelines according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applies to all activities of PAOTM. The PAO Techniek en Management Foundation is responsible for the processing of this data. We are located at Van der Burghweg 1, 2628 CS in Delft. Privacy guarantee

We believe it is very important to guarantee the privacy and data of our relations, participants and teachers. That is why we ensure that all personal data is secured and monitored against misuse and unauthorized parties. PAOTM stores your data as long as the data is relevant in connection with the purposes described below.

What do we use personal data for?

We use the data to inform you about our offer, to improve our services and to enable the proper execution of our courses and trainings. This includes informing our teachers, creating badges, organizing and evaluating courses and sending online newsletters (after permission).

What personal data do we collect and process?

We collect and process the following personal data:

• First and last name: we value personal communication. That is why we ask for your first and last name. We also use these on participant lists, certificates and diplomas.
• E-mail address: we ask for your e-mail address to answer your questions, to communicate about the progress of a course or an event and/or to keep you informed about our activities.
• Telephone number: we ask for your telephone number to answer your questions (regarding a contact request, reservation or registration), to inform you regarding your expressed interest or to execute a course or training.
• Position: when registering for a course or training, your position and organization name are important information for our teachers to ensure that the course material is relevant.
• Field of expertise: to keep you informed of information relevant to you, we ask for your field(s) of interest (after permission has been given).
• Date of birth: we ask for your date of birth to verify that we are administering the correct person and to make the diploma or certificate strictly personal.
• Organization name and address: we ask for the (billing) address of your organization to send any correspondence by post. For example, for sending a certificate/proof of participation after a course. We also use your organization name on a participant list if you participate in a course or training.
• VAT number: we ask for the VAT number for tax purposes and to verify whether or not a company is registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK).

How do we collect personal data?

We collect personal data both offline and online for the correct execution of our activities and to improve our services and/or marketing activities. We do this offline when, for example, you hand over a business card or call us to obtain advice and receive (product) information. We also process data that you leave on our website.

www.paotm.nl places cookies with website visitors. We do this to collect information about the pages that users visit on our website, to keep track of how often visitors return and to optimize pages. We also keep track of what information the browser shares. We do this online using the following tools and cookies:

• Google Analytics: Google Analytics tracks the use of our website(s) so that we can optimize them. This includes page visits, behavior and conversion tracking. The data collected here is not traceable and therefore anonymous.
• Linkedin analytics and Linkedin ads: Linkedin analytics records traffic from our Linkedin account and posts to our website(s). In the case of advertisements, this cookie keeps track of whether actions such as registrations have taken place.
• Facebook analytics and Facebook ads: Facebook analytics records traffic from our Facebook account and posts to our website(s). In the case of advertisements, this cookie keeps track of whether actions such as registrations have taken place.

We treat this information anonymously and it is not linked to other personal information. You can choose to disable cookies. More information about these options can be found on the website of your browser provider.

Processing personal data

Only authorized employees have access to personal data. We will not disclose your information to third parties.

Right to access, rectify or delete personal data

Are you a relation of PAOTM and would you like to see which of your personal data is known to us? Then you can exercise your right of access. You can also ask us to adjust and/or delete this data. If desired, you can object to the processing or request that the processing is limited or data is transferred.

Change preferences

• Post, e-mail, telephone: if you no longer wish to receive post, e-mail and/or telephone calls from us, please send an email to info@paotm.nl.
• Digital newsletter: if you receive the monthly digital course newsletter, you will find a link at the bottom of each newsletter with which you can unsubscribe or adjust your data and preferences for your fields of interest. This way you can provide relevant information yourself.

Other measures

Your personal data is protected against misuse and access by unauthorized persons using the most recent and proven techniques that are kept up to date by PAOTM. PAOTM has the right to change the content of this privacy policy where necessary.
